(البحر الطويل) “حِكْمَةُ الأَلَمِ” سَأَمْضِي وَفِي صَدْرِي مِنَ الصَّبْرِ مَوْعِظَةٌ وَأَحْفَظُ فِي سِرِّي وُعُودًا يَلْتَزِمُ تُعَلِّمُنِي الدُّنْيَا بِأَنَّ التَّجَلُّدَ سَاتِرٌ وَأَنَّ خُفُوتَ الدَّمْعِ أَحْيَانًا يَتَأَلَّمُ وَمَا كُلُّ قَلْبٍ قَدْ يُرِيكَ صَلَابَةً إِذَا مَسَّهُ الجُرْحُ الدَّفِينُ يَنْهَزِمُ أُرَتِّبُ وَجْعِي فِي الضُّلُوعِ كَأَنَّهُ كِتَابٌ عَلَى كَفِّي وَمَعْنًى يُلْهَمُ وَأَعْلَمُ أَنَّ الصَّمْتَ فِي بَعْضِ المَدَى نَفَعٌ إِذَا ضَاقَ
